Melissa Diet is the principle factor in maintaining one's health across the board. Consuming whole, unprocessed foods along with fresh fruits and vegetables, grains etc, (a good diet) will insure a healthy digestive tract as well. Having some grains, nuts and seeds (and exercise) for good measure and one's energy level will increase in abundance as this aids in keeping a clean colon.
