| Dan | My heart has beaten irregularly when I overdose on caffeine or alcohol, but I've also experienced some very adverse reactions to various herbal supplements, including grape seed extract, saw palmetto, echinacea, and flax seed oil. Maybe I'm unique in that I have some allergy to these things, but I suspect others have similar reactions. Stopping use of these supplements cleared the problems up immediately. Symptoms had included extreme weakness, a sense of pressure in my throat, and extremely irregular beats. | 12/31/2008 |
