emily Thank you for brining this article to the atttention of others! So many people have no idea what SIDD is. My six year old has SIDD. We first noticed a problem, when getting dressed in the morning began to take much longer than it should. Socks espeically bothered him. He would scream and throw things; major tantrums would occur. Finally he was diagnosed, and now he is in occupational therapy and it has really helped. The therapist suggested some seamless socks for kids to help getting dressed in the morning. They are called Smartknit Kids Seamless Socks and they have been a lifesaver. Socks are no longer such a huge problem. I found them online at Therawear. If anyone else is having the same problem I just that you give them a try. I just want to get the word out to other parents who have had the same struggles that we have. I hope this helps! 10/2/2008
