Dark Chocolate Carrots aren't non existent in a rabbit's diet. Mine eats it all the time. As for greens - french beans aren't advisable as the urine comes out in a white powder alarming the owner that it signals a loss of nutrient in the rabbit. So that should be avoided. It was helpful about how to pick up the rabbit. I pick him up as he kicks about, now I know that isn't right or safe. 7/22/2010

somya i have got a 2 rabbits just about 10 days back. they were pretty good with their diet and exercise. but one of the rabbit is sitting at the corner ,even if i feed with carrots and cabbage it is not eating. just today morning i saw that the rabbit nose part is wet. and it is constantly wet . i dont what to do at this point of time. its very dull and lazy also. i thought of treating it with some alopathy , can i proceed with this idea 5/13/2010

bamandam this sight is good i guess but a lot of the information in this article is opposite of what i have found on previous sights like to feed it cabbage, it says only romain lettuce and that cabbage can possibly harm the rabbit as well as cow milk and to only use goats milk or condensed. another thing is that if you put the rabbit where others walk by it can get frightened by the towering people or animals. alfalfa is the main type of hay to use and they enjoy eating it as well as it providing them with good nutrition. if feeding it broccoli only use the stem for the head is not good for the rabbit to eat. diarreah can actuallybe very common in baby rabbits but mostly if they are wild and found away from the nest prior to theopening of their eyes. mostly the article has accurate information just not very broad or discriptive which may be misleading. 6/1/2009

Pat G. I was told not to give my rabbit broccoli, cabbage, celery (only the leaves) and cauliflower. Now I'm confused. Another thing is that the rabbit throws himself over onto his side or back and "power naps" for a few minutes. He will do this a few times a day. His breathing is regular and he wakes up like nothing has happened. Can you explain this? 5/2/2008
