For everyone who asks, Health food stores usually keep this in stock. Most regular supermarkets do not sell. there are a few such as some kroger's and harris teeter's (for those who live in the south). Also i have lived in this small town for 7 years and never knew that we had a health food store, just google (health food stores and then type in your city and state). It also works great if you have a pet who is sick. a few drops 1/4 tsp per can of food. some say mix it in the water, but they don't like it. it tends to go unnoticed in their food. Great for cats and dogs who are prone to UTI's, and humans too. Improves skin, and coat. Just thought you'd like to know. |

I have used Bragg apple cider vinegar for years. It is very good. I have given this information to my son and his wife. I notice the difference when I don't drink it. I'm diabetic, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, so I'm drinking it every day to keep my liver, kidneys and system clean. |

I'm so SO thankful for learning about apple cider vinegar. I was desperate to not take the medications for high blood pressure after reading the side-affects.. so I googled around and found ACV in many natural remedies sites.. so I decided to go with: apple cider vin, apples, bananas and green tea to include in my diet. My blood pressure normalized after being high all year! Now I take a tablespoon with a half cup of water once or twice a day and my blood pressure is good PLUS I've lost 13 pounds. Sweets taste too sweet so I don't eat chocolate any more.. and now I can also really taste salt so I use much much less salt.

Is cider vingegar helpful for people that suffer from acid-relux? My husband has this condition. He also has gerd. He will be taking the Bravo PH acid reflux precedure.
He was told not to have any spicy,acitdy juice,fruits etc. He does not have to lose weight,however just wondering if he would benefit or not with adding apple cider to his diet.

Food for thought. I have suffered with acid reflex for about two years with stomach elsers. My doc put me on $140.00 a month meds which helped my father and neighboe put me on to ACV which I take when ever durring the day. Thanks Kevin, for the great article. I drink ACV every morning and sometimes during the day. I have been doing this for quite sometime and have no intention of stopping. I have also convinced others to do the same, when they come to me with their ailments. Just yesterday my friend said that her rheumatologist told her that drinking ACV over time will destroy her joints because it will make the body's PH acid. I know that this is not true. Do you have any information on how the body uses ACV specifically and about how it alkalanizes (I don't know if I spelled that right or if it is even a word) the body's PH. Using honey with OACV will only promote the erosion of tooth enamel over time. Using equal parts of filtered water and OACV and then afterward gargling with baking soda and water each time will prevent enamel loss. Hope this tip helps. |

Kevin, thank you so much for the great article. It has already made so many changes in me, my husband and my very ill sister. My mom kept telling me about the apple cider vinegar, honey and water for a while. Two months ago, I decided to research it and came across your article. I started drinking ACV two months ago and the swelling in my face went away. My sisters saw my Christmas photos and they wanted to know how I did it. My husband also started taking ACV around the same time. He noticed a change immediately. His knees gave him some trouble after running on the treadmill, after taking ACV he noticed that his pain had lessen dramacticaly. I told on of my sisters who was having a severe problem with her liver to try it at least once a day. Back in November, my sister was told by her doctor that she was pretty close to getting csirrosis of the liver.
She had the non alcholic fatty liver disease. A liver test was done and the results abnormally high. In December, she started taking the ACV once a day. Two days ago she went to her Gastroenterologist and he was stunned at her recent test results. He could not believe the dramatic improvement with her liver. He said it is getting back to normal, not there yet, but a significant improvement. He was amazed and had never seen so much improvement in such a short period of time. He called it a miracle. I just wanted to share this. ACV has been a true wonder drug. |

I actually knew a few things about the health benefits of apple cider vinegar, as I came across a magazine health page in which a 40 year old lady asked for a natural remedy for cholesterol and the reply astonished me that apple cider is a very good health aid to cholesterol ,aswell as blood pressure. This led me to search it online and here I am reading your article and it has even more health benefits than I expected. That is why I am now going to buy this healthier apple cider(the brownier one) and get one for my grandparents, as they suffer from almost all the health problems in your article, such as cholesterol, arthritis, blood pressure and joint pain, typical of someone over 70.
Thankfully I will use it as a multivitamin a few times a week, but not every day as I dont suffer from any of these ailments as I am a student at college. Overall a very informative article, thanks alot. |
