Very good article... but I currently have gone thru this process took my last antibiotic Saturday. I still am exhausted, slight chest pain, sick stomach, slight cold/chills. So I am looking for an article that also tells me what to expect AFTER the treatment period to give me an idea if I am right on course or if I am still not well and should go back to the Dr. |

I think the information provided on this website was very helpful. i was treated in the emergency room by the attending physicain assistant. I was told I had walking pneumonia, when i asked what that was the only reply I was given is that I was not bedridden. it wasnt until I looked it up on this website that i understood the symptoms better and now know why I feel the way I do with all the symptoms |

I was diagnosed with Microplasma (Walking Pneumonia) yesterday Sept. 12, 2009.Today it is Sept. 13, 2009.This makes the second time I have had it.Only the first time I was in the hospital this time I was lucky enough to be able to stay home.I am currently in the 5th grade and the first time I had it (when I was in the hospital) I was in Kindergarten.This sickness is very annoying and I really do not like it.So anyone who does not have it be thankful you don't.Feel free to ask me any questions you can contact me right here on this site. |

hey i need some questions answered my boyfriend has been having random coughing attacks and he says it hurts his chest really bad when he coughs he also says he gets strong chills and light headed. is this walking pneumonia? i have tried to get him to see a doctor but keeps saying he is fine. i've read it gets worse with time and i am worried. answers? |

I have a student who continuously is clearing his throat and occasionally has small cough for 3 weeks. He has been to the doctor and was told he had walking pneumonia. The clearing/cough is so loud and frequent it disturbs everyone in the class everyday. Can you shed some light on this problem.

didnt the doctors give him these pink pills, or some type of medication. because i had bad pneumonia and i aws in the hospital
and they gave some pink pills and i felt good i had no more pneumonia in my lungs
so hang in there i think it will go away if it doesnt he might of had something bad already.so dont have your hopes up. |
