karen I am looking for cross breeds of mini dachshound and toy poodle. My mini was breed by my toy poodle and I was just wandering if anyone else had any and what to expect. 9/27/2008

dingram I have an answer NENI. I also have what the wife and I call a "choodle" It pop is a red chijuajua and mom is a apricot tiny toy poodle. The pups were all black (in BOTH liters) and numbered three and four per litter. They reach close to the size of a tiny toy poodle and have a coat that is mixed between long and fine but straight and short and coarse hair. Stripe, as he is called, is my son's dog. He is 3 years old and VERY smart. He is easily trained to new things and loves to please people. Easy to care for, but has problems with his ears. He constantly scratches but the vet can't find a problem. I think the hair causes them to itch. I keep the fine hair trimmed with clippers so he doesn't look like a wire haired terrier but leave his mustache natural. Overall so darn ugly that he's cute. 1/17/2008
