Paula Maslow my doctor is giving me prednisone and a muscle relaxer and oxycodone for pain I am wondering what requires further treatment I am in worse pain in the evenings and right away in the early morning hours preventing me from getting much sleep have been off work for over a wk and have had the pain will be a month on the th of september my sister says she has one and has to just live with the pain I hope I don't have to do this 10/5/2010

Diane Werling My mom has been bedridden for 3 weeks now, in horrible pain. she had an MRI, and the doc said she has 4 bulging discs. She is a 67 year old women, who in the last month has aged tremendoulsy with this pain. What do you suppose they will do to her to get her quality of life back. 10/9/2009

jerrid jinkins i slippd and fell on the ice jan of 09.i have 5 bulging disks in cervical spine as a result. i just turnd 29 and feel like im 89.i get such severe head aches since the fall.also my kneck,inbetween my shoulder blades and into my left arm all hurt.my stregnth in my left arm has gone way down and my thumb pointer and middle finger get numb and i drop things that im holding on to.I take pain pills that dont work,and have been doing physical therapy for a month now.the therapy seem to help my left arm but everything else remains the same.I was skeptical about the injections but since its going on two months of pain i see no other option but to try it.that is in 4 days.i hope it works. I cant take this layen around and not being able to work anymore. I have been a busy bee all my life and now i cant do the things i enjoy. i have 3 children that want me to play and wrestle with them and look at me with a wonder when i tell them i cant do it.i relate to alot of theses blogs.it dosnt seem like anyone gives a darn about my conditions,and expect me to be able to do back flips when they ask me to.With out being able to work i even have child support threatening to throw me in jail.my own doctor acts like i shouldnt be feeling any pain, well if the pills he was giveing me workd i guess he would be right.but even then it only covers up the problem,it dont fix it. 3/21/2009
Nancy Lamons I fell better after reading this information. I have bulging and degenerative disc. Mine are at L4-5 , T12-L1, L1-2, L5-S1 levels. I have thought about the ESI injections. I am 62 years old and I would like to get my life back. I also have pain in my upper back and neck, but I have not gotten the MRI's done yet. I have pain, numbness, and tingling in my face, I do not know what is wrong there as of now. Any advice you have I would like to hear. Thank You 3/6/2009

Mark I have 4 bulging discs c3 to c7. I feel burning under my right arm pit, and it is also now affecting my lower back. Is there such a thing as a non-narcotic pain killer that is very strong? 1/9/2009
L bell After having a mylogram, my husband was diagnosed with buldging disc with a bone spur pressing against a nerve. He is in a lot of pain. He is scheduled for surgery middle of this month. Some days I think is going to just cry with pain. All of his normal activities has stopped completely. 12/9/2008

timmy i have an MRI that shiows i have 5 bulging discs at multi levels but right now i have severe pain in my left shoulder blade ,from turning over in bed ,i suffer from a FAILED interbody fusion at L3-4 to S 1 the pain is imense and i take perscribed opiates, which have helped ,but no longer seem to work. i go regulary to a pain center for injections to my low back i was just there last week low back is ok today but thoracic 11 -12 is horrible with pain can i double up my meds or not i need help been like this for 18 years now with no comrfort at any level chronic pain daily will you help me i have medicare and no one does (care) what am i to do now step in front of a bus ? or truck im 50 years old to old for treatmeant i believe but not for horrific pain 24/7 left arm is colder than right and sorta weak i do not want to go on with any more of this and am saying that if help is not found soon the truck/bus is all i can do for myself! 6/12/2008
bc i was in a vehicle accident and was rear ended while sitting still i was later after ct-scan was diagnosed with a bulding disk in lumbar spine.i was wondering if this could have been the cause of this diagnosis 2/20/2008
