Betty Lathan There is a little known movie, called "Dreamchild", which shows Alice Liddell as an 80 Yr. Old woman, visiting the U.S. for the first time and looking back on her time with Dodgson. The movie addresses the stigma of their relationship, among many other things.Although a fictituous movie, it is definitely an enlightening piece of literature, and a must see if you are curious about the background of the man who wrote as Lewis Carroll, and/or of the child that inspired a legend. 9/4/2010

J. Spierling There is no proof that Lewis Carroll was a drug addict in any way. The term Mad as a Hatter did not come from his book, it was a common term of the time due to the illness often suffered by hat makers from the chemicals, I believe mercury, used in the hat making process. 1/2/2008
Julia McGeorge I think that this guy had an interesting life and the part about him being a drug addict explains why Alice in Wonderland was written!!!! 1/2/2008
