Margy I'm interested in the comparisons given. I'm sure if you were to talk to Dutch children in a predominently Muslim part of Amsterdam, they would have other comments; likewise, talk to children in a Devon town and again, there'd be other comments. Also, if children are kept occupied with meaningful activities, no matter where they live, they won't be bored. Why is there such a poverty of imagination among the children? Why constantly put the blame on councils ..what are parents doing to stir imaginations and provide stimulating activities? What happened last generation? 2/18/2007
