A little over a month after Wayne Schenk was told he had only about a year to live, he scratched off a $5 lottery ticket and was suddenly a millionaire. But he probably won’t be able to collect the money.

Ellen This is a man who fought for our country and now we need to fight for him. He desperately needs the money upfront to get the advanced medical care he needs to try to survive. I understand rules but this is a human life we are talking about here. 2/15/2007
