Humane Slaughter?

Foie gras (goose liver pate) is produced by force feeding geese for a few weeks before they are killed. Animal rights activists and bleeding hearts are vociferous in taking up the sword of behalf of dumb animals.

Ninn Well I don't think that animals that are killed because it is their soul purpose for existitng should be killed in a cruel way. But from what I last knew force feedig isn't killing.....is it? How do they kill these geese? That should be the question shoudn't it? 2/10/2007
