Joey Burns Well that's mighty WHITE of you. Thanks for going to hell for me. Saves me the trip. Pick up some deviled eggs while you're there. Contemplate this.
1. God is All powerful
2. God is all good
3. Evil exists
So either your god is not all powerful or he just an control freak that likes to watch us suffer

Rob Umm...why would "God" go to hell if he didn't sin? 4/24/2009
Natasha H. Where's the scientific PROOF? Yes, proof is necessary.

First of all, prove to me that Jesus as a man existed. How about proving to me that Jesus as the son of your god existed/exists? If you can't get so far as this in providing evidence, I suppose there's no reason I should ask if you have proof in an afterlife or god at all(I already know you don't). Moreover, I will never accept anything that does not have evidence to support it. It may work for mindless drones, but not for me.

It's completely illogical to believe in anything for which no evidence can be found. If evidence existed, you wouldn't be BELIEVING, now would you? You'd be KNOWING. The religious always claim that you must have -faith- in order to -believe-, but doesn't that seem like a cop out? You're basically telling others that in order to believe something so absolutely ridiculous, you need to cut yourself off from rational thinking. The thing is, you COULDN'T "believe" it any other way. You couldn't do it if you had more of an intellectual, rational, scientific mind. You have to push those thoughts that your god might not exist to the back of your mind in order to keep your "faith".

"All thinking men are atheists." - Ernest Hemingway

While religion might have had some evolutionary, possibly cultural/societal advantage in our distant past, it does not seem to have an advantage at this point in our modern society. It's become a curse on the advancement of our species, limiting and even completely stopping it in most situations due mostly to completely immoral ideas of "morality". The best thing for our planet and for our fellow human beings would be to eradicate in one way or another these ridiculous supernatural and religious beliefs.

It's time to start paying attention to and caring for others as opposed to big bearded guys living on clouds, and to start giving money to good causes as opposed to funding your churches expansion (either infrastructure-wise or in trying to brainwash the masses). It's time to start looking at the world with awe and wonder and start taking care of it instead of acting as if some god put it here for us to manipulate and use up and ruin(since apparently you think he'd just give us another one to play with).

It's time to start caring about your life and the lives of other for the fact that there is nothing after. We have to make the most of our time here, starting NOW.

It's time to start thinking. It's time to wake up.

You've been asleep for far to long!

non-Emo emotional arguement. nah. 2/20/2008
Lowell Truly absurd. "God" hasn't proven a thing. Your "proof" falls far below the threshhold of credibility. He's supposedly all-knowing, so he must know where I live. Have him stop by for a chat and maybe make some water into wine.... "Miracles" will be required. 1/19/2008
