What is a Pomeranian dog shelter and what do they have to do with you and your fascination with Pomeranians? Well believe it or not there are unfortunately people out there who don't look after their Pomeranians as well as you would. These dogs usually get picked up by animal cops and taken to a Pomeranian dog shelter.

Alberta C. I love Pomeranian Dogs, I think they are the most beautiful animals God has ever created. I am a Minister in the United Methodist Church. My first church was in the state of Nebraska. My congreationgave me a gift for my birthday the first year that I was there. It was a 6 week old boy Pomeranian and I named him Pumpkin. I retired from the conference of my church in June of 2008 for health reason s and I lost my best friend in the world, my dog Pumpkin who was 16 years old in July. Life is so very hard for me without Pumpkin and I can never replace Pumpkin, but I am looking for another Pomeranian to hold close to my heart.
