Be careful when buying a memory foam mattress. We bought a king size Tempur-pedic. I sleep very well on it and love it. My wife wakes up hardly able to move because of the pain in her back, that did not exist with our old broken down mattress. But we are stuck. She is at her wit's end and we are stuck with this mattress and no recourse. |

I too have a tempur-pedic delux. I've had it for 5 years and now I get back aches. The memory foam sags and fails to support the back. I have to sleep on the edge of the bed. Even my chiropractor said to keep away from the memory foam type beds |

I wouldn't recommend the Tempur-Pedic to anyone who is used to sleeping on a real mattress. Plus if you don't like it then you'll pay $250 to return is. It's a rip! |

I've had the Tempurpedic Deluxe queen size mattress since Dec. 30 of 2008. It caused me back pain and I've been going to a chiropractor to get rid of the pain. |

My queen size Tempurpedic Deluxe mattress arrived Dec. 30. Since then I've developed terrible lower back pain. I thought my body would be used to it by now but it's been almost 2 months. I'm probably going to sell it. What kills me is I researched a new bed for almost a year, went to numerous stores, spent hours lying on different mattresses and made a painfully wrong decision. |

My wife and I have owned a our Tempurpedic Cal King for almost 3 years and have been sleeping in a soft mellow "pit" for the past year or so. We currently have a request for replacement and hope that Tempurpedic honors their 20 year warranty. My back is "killing" me! |

My experience with Tempur Pedic is a little different. I bought the mattress because I was advised that it would be helpful for my lower back pain. After about a year of sleeping on the mattress and feeling worse (I didn't want to admit to myself that I paid that much for a mattress that was so bad) I had to start sleeping on another standard mattress in my guest room. After several visits to the chiropractor and NOT sleeping on the Tempur Pedic I am feeling better. Their warranty claim procedure is almost impossible to complete. I am still stuck with this very expensive and worthless mattress. |

I was wondering which tempurpedic bed style you have. We had the symphony bed which was way too hard. My arm would fall asleep when I laid on my side. We would like to try one again but there are so many choices. |

My husband and I recently purchased a Tempurpedic bed. Simply it is amazing. I am 42 and started to have lower back pain some due to age and the rest due to constantly needing to transfer my child who has CP. Since we have been sleeping on this bed my lower back pain is COMPELETLY gone. I am serious. My husband has had a big decline in his back pain and he suffers from a slipped disc in his back. I would recommend this bed to young and old and you will be guaranteed to get what you paid for. We too also noticed a chemical smell when the bed first arrived, again like our last 2 beds that were not Tempurpedic also smelt this way and the smell does go away. We are certain this will be the last bed we need to invest in as we are also aware it is beneficial for arthritis! lol |
