christy This article was okay until I read things to do to avoid abuse! What a crock. I've been there and why would a woman have to keep herself pretty all the time and make her man dinner? praveena men and women are equal. God have given men more physical strength and less to women because women have to give birth to children. if women are also physically as sazme as men giving birh will never happen.if women has to tackle his beating hubby by preparing lunch in time, preparing coffee in time, welcoming him by dressing good what will men good to tackle his beating wife.LOVE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HURT. marriage is done to share love, nothing else. if this is not done. why is marriage necessary. 6/14/2009

Lisa I'm currently in a abusive relationship. I feel so ashame and hurt. I question myself on a daily basis. I lived in a abusive relationship. My dad fought my mom along with being a now 21 years of drug abuse. I always said I would never be like my mom. Look at me now. My son is 20 years of age and really despise my husband. My daughter has watched us fight. I want to leave but I'm afraid of my daughter not being able to live in a 2 parent home along with not being able to afford to live in my house. I see a counselor but at times I'm to ashame to tell her all the deep dark secrets. I wonder if my husband love me and why does he blame me for our marriage problems. I have 3 friends that are aware of my dilema. What do I do? How can things change? He refuse to see that he has a problem. 2/4/2009
