Dog Illnesses – Parvovirus

The Parvovirus directly attacks the heart muscle of puppies and this usually leads to immediate death.

michael shields I have cured a dog which was confirmed with the Parvo Virus by the vet in Milford,Letterkenny,County Donegal,Ireland. The same cure has cured T.B ,emphysema,Sarcoidosis, the cure is herbal and has been used by hundreds without any adverse reactions or allergic reactions. Ido not charge for the cure. 11/8/2009
John D i have found that force feeding your puppy left over cooking grease will help the puppy vomit up the infection in his body & have him eating & drinking again in no time. You should also give your dog a bleach bath one time making sure not to get it in his face. 7/11/2009
Dr Sophie As a professional the article is pretty accurate minus the fact Parvo cannot be spread through urine...it is only spread through contact with feces. 4/16/2009
Diane I should clarify my previous comment... there is a type of parvo that does affect the heart... not nearly as common Thanks 10/30/2008
Diane There is some incorrect information in the article. Parvo does not attack the heart muscle and the dog that recovers from Parvo is not compromised for the rest of its life and die an early death. Parvo attacks the intestinal tract, the bone marrow and the lymphatic
system. Dogs that recover usually suffer no long term effects and dogs that have had parvo are immune from getting it again.

betty i actually have a question, i bought my dog from a pet store, she is about 10 weeks now, but she was only like 7 or8 when we got her. She has parvo and as far as we know she hasnt been vaccinated for the virus. Shoud the pet store have vaccinated her for at least her first time before we got her with her Being 8 weeks? 10/18/2007
UNKNOWN THANK U SO MUCH BECAUSE ONE OF MY PUPPIES HAVE DIED LATE LAST NIGHT AND NOW THE OTHER PUPPY IS SHOWING THE SAME SYMPTOMS 10/13/2007
charles also 1oz. bleach to 30 oz. water is more than suffient to remove enough parvo to acceptable levels in your home 8/17/2007
charles I was told by many vets not just one when my dog had parvo that getting the virus and surviving the virus will make them immune to it . when dogs are vaccinated they are given the virus so how is it different form having the virus the body beating the virus by fighting it off and building up the immune system against it to injecting them with the vaccine which in turn has 10 times less parvo than the dog shedding it 8/17/2007
Dionne what to feed your dog when he has parvo? 5/11/2007
