Krista I wholeheartedly agree. I spent $175 on a vintage-looking frock which I then spent another $100 in alterations on. It's gorgeous because it makes me feel gorgeous. If guests think it looks "cheap" I don't care!

And anyway, brides who spend $$$ on a gown to impress others are missing the point. The gown is for you and your beloved. That's it. Who cares if it's Vera Wang or whatever! If it would make you happy to spend $$$ on a gown, go for it, but at least take a look at cheaper gowns (especially if you like the vintage look). You may be pleasantly surprised!		 7/16/2007
