Alan B. Densky Van, You've mis-read the article. Hypnotherapy certainly does apply to physical health! Anxiety is mental, tension is physical. When you use your mind to eliminate the anxiety, your body becomes relaxed. When people have cravings, it's their mind screaming out for the food, NOT their body. When you control the mind and eliminate the cravings so that you can eat less calories than you need, then the body loses weight. Nowhere in the article does it advocate eliminating exercise. Short & sweet, if you can't control your cravings (mental) then you can't eat right and lose weight. 12/7/2007
Van that's ridiculous! Without exercise, nobody will lose fat in a healthy way. Throw away your television and begin some kind of daily sport - and you save money and fat compared to throwing money of the window and being frustrated because of not losing fat with this...
btw: what he says about hypnosis is right - but it doesn't apply to physical health at all
