CS The WHO advocate breastfeeding for two years and thereafter as long as mutually desired. If a mother wants to stop breastfeeding then she should get the support she needs to achieve this without pain. However there is no law, unwritten or otherwise that breastfeeding must stop by a certain time. There are only cultural pressures. This article is very misleading. All breastfed children do wean. Margie Very good ideas, and the only ones that worked for me. Having nursed for 3 years, I know it is hard to stop due to engorgement and such.
But, when the child accepts it, they are in shock, especially when they have the breast to go to sleep. Mom is tired, and so is baby, so it is easy.		 10/10/2009

my lil one is going to be 10 month soon and she has 4 teeth and im breastfeeding so you can only imagine how much this hurts me because she bites me sometimes, she will not take a bottle. i've tryed to give her a sippie cup. she will take it but she sipts out the water or milk that i give her. is there any way i can et her off if so can you let me know please and thank you		 6/4/2008
