I have read most articles writen by this man who is so determined to see the distraction qnd end of the nation of Ethiopia. To have intellectual involvement and opinion is one thing and to dip ones noze in the daily affairs and politics of another nation is another. Dr. Mohammed whatever your obssesive motive is, it seems to be intellectually dragging you below the level of academician and making you a paper mercenary. Let the Ethiopians or your abyssinians sort out their problems. If I were you I would worry worry a little more about the area of your origin which seems you to have a problem handling. By the way we in our history have passed so many hurdles and so many enemies strong and weak, but we will stay united and solve our problems. Besides your specialization in some areas of your profession have at the same time blinded you to to understand the fabric and makeup of nations of the world. Besides let history take its course. As a historian or whatever write it observe it and analize it. Sometimes it could be to hot that the flames may burn you to even continue satisfying your academic apetite. |

Well as a Proud Beja and son of the Anu kemetic ret par excellence i would have to say that race does not exist. My homeland extends from southern Egypt all the way to ethiopia the border with eritrea Sudan we Beja/Hedareb have been living side by side with tigreans nara, tigre, afar, saho, kunama, raishaida, bilen, muslims christians jews animist we are all africans we are all kuic/kemetic if u ask me i dont see that big of a difference in the looks of southern egyptians mainly the saeedis who i have lived side by side with in egypt the nubians of northern sudan Khartoum eritreans, ethiopians, somalians, djboutians, oromos, afars these people look very similar strip them of there tribal marks and tribal dress i bet u Mr. Muhammed could not tell the difference between an Oromo Amhara or an Afar i live in the united states and people always mistake me for Ethiopian Yemeni Oromo Somali Saeedi egyptian u name it. As a Beja i feel we have more in common with my brothers from Sudan/Eritrea/ethiopia/djbouti/somalia than anyone in this entire world i have never been to ethiopia but i know i would feel at home there than i would in lets say Turki or Greece first of all i highly respect Ethiopians because they have always held strong to there culture and heritage of being africans not the same for my people in Sudan and Egypt my people are so ignorant they believe kaffirs built the pyramids in egygpt and in meroe most sudanese claim they come from arabia and link there lineages back to prophet muhammed even my father claims to be related to muhammed from arabia when in real sense we have nothing to do with arabia Ethiopians dont claim arabs or kaffirs built Axum they take pride in there heritage and always stick to there african identity hamitic Semitic thats a big game of lies to show that no african built a great civilization but was the product of outside civilized arabs or asians. Are you okay?! Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis. Mrs. Hamida do you know when the word Oromo began to be used, do you know the word itself is not even 50 years old which means the word Oromo is not even older than you. What a bui and old muscle head are you. First you claim you are an educated person, at the same you talk nonsense which is hard to comprehend. You look like to me you are in love with an Oromo man and you look like you are trying too much in order to empress him to get his attention. I know you people most of you guys over there are bisexuals so if you are trying to empress your new lover stopp you old fart before you lose the game. Your intention looks funny because the way you are acting does not look a healthy one if you are interested to share the things you know stopp acting idiot, you old fart. It seems to many of us there is someone behind you telling how and what to say. Please think in your head do not think in your fat you know what I mean. I know in Mombasa Kenya we call people when they act foolish we call them do not act just like Turkish barber because people in some parts of Kenya people think that most Turkish are liar and dishonest who will try to please someone even though they do not believe in it. Do you also think Oromos in Kenya have to secede what about the Kurdistan people the one your father massacred. I know the Kurd people are not allowed even to speak their language so who are you trying to fool I thought the reason for Turkey why it is not a European union member is because of your human right issue. I have studied some African history especially some east African history so the things you are saying do not have similarity with the thing I know I have also driven a lory for 3 and half years from Ethiopian Moyale border as well as including Kenya and Somalia border as well as Uganda so do not create Jihad in the poor African people and stopp Darfur blood shade. Well, it is time to go and wash to be Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis

The true Ethiopian Muzeyin the son of Bilal or Belay. I can not think what is in this person's mind to me he is not a normal person. Look his racist view and his terminology, I am sad for him and people like him even he can not hide his hatefulness in front of the whole world why some Muslims are so emotional than any religious member follower why they are so open to their dislike than humanity whether they are doctors or peasants they have the same views so some times I think a trained camel might be a better thinker than an educated or doctor person than this articles writer. Doctor first of all you have not read enough books to write this nonsense article if you want few things to know let me offer you if we look the history of any society. First people move from place to place for different reasons as you did or as my Oromo brothers an sisters migration to highland Ethiopia from the lowland parts of Ethiopia. second people intermarry among different ethinic group members as well as religious members especially in Ethiopia there is no a caste system so people marry among different ethnic groups and with different religious societies. Morover people move from place to place as a result today's Oromo or Amhara person decendant might have been, from another ethnic group they might have been from Agew, Gurage, Sidama or Wolayita etc. Remember the different ethnic people of Ethiopia do not have an identity based on skin color instead our difference is based on our language difference especially after the Oromo migration of the 16th century the Oromo were avle to marry with the different ethnic group women as the other ethnic groups of Ethiopia did or still doing you need to know in Ethiopia people do not marry their sisters and brothers even the Muslims as you people do over there we have to count at least 7 generations back to avoid blood relationship before we marry anyone, so to find a wife or husband people go as far as they can go. We must cross rivers and distance to find the unrelated wife and husband therefore it will be easier to people like me to marry an Oromo or Amhara ethinic person than my own ethnic person. So according to you , are you telling us the Oromo people of Ethiopia did not intermingled with other people all this time so they are still they are the same Oromos as they were in the 16th century which means no change. If that is your view I think you need to see a mental especialist before it is too late and take back your fake doctorate to whoever gave you. Please come to your senses if you have few remaining and let me ask you another question, as you know today their are millions of Blacks of African origin so are you saying they have to go to Africa and claim by tracing history back. Do you also think that english does not belong to todays blacks in America, Remember sir language does not exist forever remember Latin and Greek use to be 2 of the old days' languages they were replaced today by English, Spanish and few more bigger other languages. By the way do you know many Ethiopian leaders were non Amhara like Mengistu was his mother Amhara and his father Oromo before him general Tefere Bante was a full blooded Oromo before him general Aman Michael Amdom was an Eritrean even Haylesiliase was not an Amhara rather a mix including previous leaders and kings were from different ethnic groups. for instance in some parts of Amhara dominated land there are still Oromo speaking people so if the Amharas were evil as you put it why still Oromigha is spoken in Wolo Qalu district as well as In some parts of Gojam province when they are surrounded by Amhara ethnic members for the past 4 or 5 centuries. I know for sure that people like you will never contribute to human development and unity rather you will add or bring for humanity's pain and suffrage. I can not think you leaved for 50 years and you still think as if you were a 10 years old still you think village wise at the same time you dream an Islam dominated world and to get there you want to shade the blood of women and children as you do in Darfur.

Ethiophobia Ethiophobia By Prof. Ayo Momina December 18, 2006
This is a response to an article written by the so-called Dr. Muhammed Shamsaddin Megalommatis entitled: "Avert an East African Islamic Terror volcano - break down fake Ethiopia."*
My objective is to illuminate on the heaps of stereotypes disseminated by anti-Ethiopian agents such as Shamsaddin who have disguised themselves as "Egyptologist, Orientalist, Iranologist; Islamologist, ethnologist, etc., etc.….."
The age-old indelicate remarks especially about Amharic-speaking Ethiopians, the voluminous built-in distortions and misconceptions need refutation and treatment. The self-called Westerners and the most confused and demoralized Arabs who were not able to colonize Ethiopia have engaged themselves to perpetuate racial baia. Westerners used science and theology to propagate anti-Ethiopian conspiraces. After the victory of Adwa in 1896, Ethiopians were declared not to be black Africans but "caucasoid" whites colonists from soutwestern Asia (Arabian Felix). The "Hametic and Semitic" white race myths have been systematically fabricated. Any traces of civilization on the African soil south of the Sahara is claimed to be the brainchild of the "Hamites" super race. So the great wall of Zimbabwe was attributed to be the work of ancient colonists of the Middle East. The "Hamaites and the Semites" were assumed to be immigrants from the Middle East. Wainwright (1949) and Jeffrys (1954) propagated the once commonly held idea that the monumental sites of the Great Zimbawe were produced by Oromo invaders from Ethiopia in the ninth century.
West Europeans of the eighteenth century such as Gobineau devised a hierarchy of races in accordance with the theory of social Darwinism. Thereby, whites especially the Anglo-Saxon (Teutons) race was placed in the phyla of "Caucasoid" at the apex, Orientals and Semites in between and the so-called Negroid race at the bottom of the ladder. Besides that the mythology of Indo-Germanic and an Aryan Herrenvolkism was fabricated by "Orientalists" in order to exploit and subjugate the Indian sub-continent. The Bible was used to justify enslavement of black Africans. According to the Jewish Bible and tradition the curse of Noah was the main cause for blackness of Africans.
The non-African paradigm that the Sabean "Semetic colonists" from the Arabian peninsula are the creaters of the Ethiopian civilization, its culture and language is the most pervasive Eurocentric manipulation. This was and is a delibrate distortion of the history of Ethiopia. The exclusion of ancient Ethiopia and Egypt from the rest of Africa had the sole purpose of serving West European expansion and colonization in Africa.
The languages of Africa in general and that of Ethiopia in particulare have been classified based on geography and racial basis. The Semetic and Hametic (Cuic) dichotomy is an oxidental divisive hypothesis. It is time to rectify these and other misconceptions. For example, the Amharic language cognates more than 70 % to the Agau language of central Ethioipa and yet Amharic is classified by American and European "scholars" as "Semetic" and the Agau language as " Hametic or Cuic". Above all the Ethiopian classical Geez language is of the house of Ham. Geez is not a Semetic language. It did not origin from south Arabia but in the heart of Africa in the Nile Valley. Geez is more ancient and more gramatically superior than Aramaic, Arabic and Greek. There has been a considerable difference of opinion among geniune linguists as to the criteria to be applied when identifing an Ethiopic (Geez) language as a semetic. The late Soviet scholars A.B Dolgopolsky and Igor Diakonoft did not classify Ethiopic as a "south Semetic".
The original inhabitants of Arabia were Africans and they spoke a Cuic language. This has been corroborated by the studies of Cheik Anta Diop (1979); Obenga; Hailu Habtu (1987); Tershale Tibebu, Asres Yenesew (1943), Schneider (1976), Ayele Bekri ( 1997), etc.
The different ethnic groups and languages of Ethiopia have become a guinea-pig for western "scholars" who are currently devising "new studies" of divisive ideas. In the name of self-determination of ethnic groups, the ancient black nation has to be partitioned into Bantustans. New vassal states loyal to westerners must be called into existence. The Amhara people of Ethiopia have been seen as an obstacle to the envisaged schem of things in Ethiopia. So their history, language, culture has to be distorted. Their number has been deliberately reduced. Whether anti-Ethiopian forces like it or not, the Amhara make more than 45% of the Ethiopian pouplation. Statistics made by the CIA does not change the objective reality. Many wolves in sheep’s clothing have tried in the name of Islam, Christanity, Western civilization; Self-determination etc. to eradicate Ethiopia from the map of the world. That, whatsoever, did not work and it will never be materialized.
Therefore, psycopathic persons like Shamsaddin had better get medical care by their pay masters rather than meddling in the affairs of Ethiopians. Following the footsteps of the late Lebanese Druz, Amir Shakib Arslan (1869-1946), who was the paid agents of Italian fascists, Shamsaddin is currently perpetuating the age-old anti-Ethiopian discourse. Based in Geneva, Arslan used to campaign against Ethiopia. During that time fascists portrayed Ethiopia as a barbarous black Christian kingdom that had oppressed Islam and Muslims throught its history. By destroying Ethiopia, Islam and Arab prestige would have been restored. Duce Mussolini called upon the Arabs and Muslims to support his "civilizing mission" in Ethiopia. Furthermore, Islam and Arabism was used by fascists to counteract the British and French occupation of the Middle East. Fascists wanted to control the source of the Nile and aspired also to resurrect the Roman Empire in Africa and Asia.
What an absurd appeal!
Shamsaddin appealed to America to help the Oromo to secede, form an independet country, kick the Amharas out of Addis Abbaba. His abhorent remarks remind me of the Nazi baron Roman Prochazka, who wrote Abessienein: the black danger on the eve of fascist aggression in 1935. Prochazka proposed also to divide the only independent black nation in Africa into many Bantustan regimes loyal to west European white supremacists.
Before lamenting for the Oromos, Shamsaddin had better studied Ethiopian history. The Amharas in Addis Ababa live in the lands of their ancestors. Not only the Amharas but also their Absha kins namly the Gurages, the Agaus, the Argobas, the Hadyas, the Kambatas; the Sidamas, the Gamos, the Tigres, etc., etc were and are the indigenous Absha inhabitants of the Ethiopian plataeu extending from Bali to the coastal regions of ther Red Sea. Addis Ababa was the residence of the great Ethiopian emperors from the 13th to 16th century before the Oromo pastoral nomads began their migration into Ethiopian highland in the wake of the barbaric invasion of Ethiopia by the proxy of Ottoman Turks. Addis Ababa is in the land of the Gurage, Gafat and Amhara of Shoa.
Therefore, Mr. Mohammed Shamsaddin had better asked Americans to divid Sudan into four or more " independent states". Help is there urgently needed to kick out Arab Militia (the Djandjawit) from Darfur-Kordofan. They are causing terrible havoc.
Black African different ethnic groups in the former Anglo-Egyptian conglomorate now called the Sudan have been coercively Islamaized and Arabized. The once proud Noba ethnic group, the Dinkas the Nubians; the Bejas in the Red Sea costal regions etc. have all been enslaved by a bunch of Arabized crosbreed cliques. Shamsaddin and his coalesce are anti-Semetic bigots. Martin Bernal’s Black Athena does not preach anti-Semetism. He rather corroborates that Afro-Asiatic languages and the Nile Valley ancient civilization is the foundamental basis of the Greeko-Roman civilization. Bernal refuted scientific racism, an Eurocentric view of world history and the myth of Aryanism.
Egypt is the splendour of the world. The blackman of Kemit is the pioneer of science, medicine, geometry, law; astronomy, architecture, agriculture, philosophy, etc. The independent existence of the ancient Ethiopian black nation since time immemorial in the Nile Valley in the heart of Afrika is a thorn in the flesh of all racists and colonial aspirants. For radical Islamists in the Middle East, in the Horn of Afrika and elsewhere Ethiopia is their historical enemy. Ethiopia is a scapegoat for their miserable condition and above all their inferiority complex as a result of being ruled by non-Arab and Christian European masters.
Many Arabs have been traumatized by the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire in the wake of World War I. Their Turkish masters left them in disarray. Thanks to the French and the British colonial rulers, they tried their best to civilize the Arab nomads to govern themselves. The English estabished the Saudi dynasty and the Anglo-Americans are its custodian to this day. Moreover, the new Hashemite king, Hussein, had come to the throne with British help. In the year 1922 he allowed and taxed the trafficking of slaves. King Hussein refused to stop the slave trade or slavery and objected to the British ships patrolling his waters (Suzanne Miers, et al. 1995).
The Origins of the Ethiopian State
The Ethiopian state and its civilization is the direct descendants of ancient Kemit. Ethiopians have nothing to do with the Sabeans of South Arabia. Keim or Kemet was the native name of Egypt which means the black land. Egypt is a Greek word for the river Nile which came many centuries later.
Before the Arabian peninsula was inhabited, the land of Ethiopia was inhabited by a higly civilized black people of Africa. According to the hieroglophic text an authentic civilization began as early as 2000 B.C in Ethiopia. The successive Punt, Damat and Axumite civilizations have their root in Africa (Jacqueline Pirenne, Du Bois, Drsuilla Dunjee Houstone, Rodolfo Fatovitch, 1987). Ethiopia is the source the Afro-Asiatic language family. The Arabian peninsula was originally inhabited by black people. Proto-Semetic language speakers have lived in the Ethiopian Rift Valley and plateaues since prehistory. A thousand obelisks with hierogliphic signs are widespread in southern and central Ethiopia. Father Azias has studied these ancient monuments extending from Gurageland to Lake Turkana. Ethiopia is the cradle of mankind and civilization.
However, western historians time and again have distorted the history of the African people in general and the Ethiopians in particular. They even separated the ancient Kemet (ancient Egypt) and Ethiopian civilization from the rest of Africa.
Punt the Land of the Abasha
Ancient Egyptians hierogliphic records of more than thirteen centuries bear witness to the existence of the country called Punt and its people called Abesha in North east Africa. Punt was a the holy land (Taneter) and was regarded as an ancestral homeland of the Pharahos. During the reign of Senusert II one of the most interseting records of that age was a group of 37 Aamu of Shu broght a tribute of Kolh. The leader of the delegation leading a tamed ibex, his title and name is before him heq setu Abasha, which means princes of the hill country. Abasha means the father of a present. The inscription of Hammat from the XI Dynasty records the expedition to the holy land of Punt. Punt was one of the countries supposed to be under the jurisdiction of Athor the godess of beauty (nbt Pun). In the inscript of the XII Dynasty reads: uru nu pun, which means the chiefs of Punt greet you the king of Kemet and the son of the nine nations (peoples). Horus had also the nickname nb Pun (Lord of Punt).
The location of Punt and its geographical extent has been precisely been determined (K.A Kitchen,1990). The Gulf of Aden and the Somali coast have been discarded. Any non-African location and fabrication of Punt had been excluded once and forever. The XXVI th Dynasti left a valuable stela which reads:
….. rain fall upon the mountain of Punt - rain was a scarcity in the southern provinces… this month in which its rain was, when it was not the season (for) it, even in the delta towns; your mother (the godess) Neith had brought it for you - a Nile-flood to sustain your forces.
block quote block quote end
Rain falling in the mountains of Punt and the subsquent Nile inundation into Egypt has shown that Punt was located in the northwest Ethiopian highlands. The ebony obtained from Punt was from the regions of nortwestern Ethiopia. The Abasha people of Punt did not come from Mesoptamia the land between Euphrat and Tigres. They were black, red and brown native Africans. Bas-reliefs in Dayr-al Bahari at Thebes depict the Ethiopians cultivating myrrh and incense in the land of Punt. The people of Punt belonged to the same race as the Kemet in ancient Egypt. There were four types of human races: red, yellow, black and white (H. Brugsch, 1858)
The ancient Egyptian language is related to many Ethiopian languages such as Agau, Amharic, Tigrigna; Kunama; Wolamigna, Keficho, Gonga, Gafat and Geez. They have in common monosyllabic words. The formation of the plural in Amaric is derived from ancient Egyption language ( W.Vyciciil, 1952). Many Egyptian words and grammer cognates with Amharic, Geez, Tigrigna and Agau. For example:
block quote ?????? (characters missing. - Ed.) (E.A W Budge, 1978). The Egyptian hieroglyphic writing system like Geez has only first order character. Furthermore, the Merotic Ethiopian alphabet has resemblance with the Geez. A six lines seal of queen Hendike Taktidamini from the ancient city of Merowe is to be seen in Berlin Musem. block quote end
Are not Arabs Semetic?
Islam spread to the Horn of Africa through trade and migration of Arabs from Yemen and Oman. In this regard, the Somalis in particular and other Islamized tribes of the Horn in general trace their ancestory to the Arabs. Inspite of common ancestry many light-skinned Arabs have a sense of superiority over blacks, even if the latter were converted to Islam. Although the Koran preached racial equality and was only practiced in the lifetime of the prophet. Blacks (Zanj) were considered to have no Intelligence or knowledge. This racist view has contributed to the negative image of black Africans in the western world.
Arabized Somalis (Jabartis) and Wa Swahili - a crossbreed of Arabs and Africans, were the main slave raiders and traders. The slaveholders of East Africa came from Oman and Yemen. The Sultan of Oman conquered most of the costal regions in the late eighteenth and early nineteeth centuries. The Cuic speaking Somalis are not racialy Arabs. The Sultan of Zanzibar sold the Somalis to the Italians in the late nineteenth century. Despite that the confused Somalis are the torch bearer of Pan-Arabism in the Horn of Africa. Somalia and Djibouti are members of the " Arab League".
Are not the Arabs in the Sudan and in the Arab Repulic of Egypt Semetic?
According to Shamsaddin account, it seems that the Amhara and Tigrians are the only "Semetic " people who are opressing the the "Cusitic majority". The truth of the matter is that the Nubians both in Egypt and the Sudan and other non-Arab ethnic groups have been enslaved and completely lost their culture and language. That is why the freedom loving people of Southern Sudan are fighting against the pan-Arabist regime in Khartoum. In fact the Arabs of Egypt, Yemen and Oman were the main slavetraders of North and East Africa. The Nubian Christian state was ransacked by the Arabs in 15th century and Sudan became the supplier of slaves to the Middle East and India.
Shamsaddin falsely compares Al Bashir, the military Junta leader of the Sudan, with the German Nazi Fuehrer, Adolf Hiter. This is an absurd analogy and reflects his neo-Nazi view of the holocaust. It is an insult to many million victims of Nazi barbarism.
If Shamsaddin were a geniune Egyptologist, he would have then suggested for the Arabic name Sudan to be changed into Nubia and Egypt into Kemit The Arabs in Egypt have nothing to do with ancient Egypt. The ruling class is not an Arab tribe but a descendant of Albano-Turke crossbreed. The present Egypt is living at the cost of our great great black ancestors. They have stolen our legacy and allowed the selfcalled westernres to loot the graves of the great Pharoahs of ancient Kemit and Punt.
All Pharaohs were black Abasha from Punt land. We Ethiopians are the only direct descendants and the custodian of ancient Egyptian culture, civilization and religion. The institution of divine monarchy and the various traditions of the Nile Valley civilization suvived intact for many thousand years only in Ethiopia. The minority Copts in Egypt have been exposed for so many centuries to foreign occupation. As a result, they have become a crossbreed with blood of Greeks and Romans. Egypt is the gift of the Abasha people of Ethiopia.
Long live Ethiopia!! Ethiopia shall rise!!

And nobody will divide an oppressed people into freedom fighters and filthy collaborators with the Amhara tyranny!

I’m no longer wasting my time reading your bias and racist point of views. This is my last. So you studied a little bit of history and now u want to twist the facts and use that to your advantage and your motive. A freshman in college can read a history book and write an article to for or against it. You and I now the truth…deep down inside you know all the educated known the truth. Africa as a whole, we need to unite and not divide. Look at Europe my black brothers and sisters and look at Africa. We need to unite and not divide. Ethiopia doesn’t need to divide anymore… Africa doesn’t need to divide anymore. How small does a country need to be? Are we going to divide until each family has their own country? We Africans are not animals needing to fight each other and breaking up in smaller and smaller countries. Look, we are all from the descendants of Ham, we all need to unite. If anything needs to be done, it needs to be done in peace like Dr. Martin Luther King did.
As for the fake professor, also know as Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis you are a 50 year old child. Grow up and you call yourself a Muslim? Stop giving the rest a bad name. Your true motives are easier to read than a 3rd grade level book. All your work is some old paper you were told to write for a class back in high school or college. And now you are just putting up your old opinions to support your true motive, Extreme Muslim, and at the same time pretending like you’re helping Afar Oromo people. They are not stupid they understand and read through your bull and see what you are doing. You saw what some of the Proud Oromo people commented on your article they said "ur one sick Indivdual I wouldn't mind Behaded !! Love Ethiopia" And you go around saying they support you. You’re only after the extreme religion not the people. You are not that bright. Only evil would want to divide a small country up instead of uniting. I can read between the lines your whole intent and motive is not logical. People please follow the money and back track and you’ll always find out the truth. Hay fake professor, you need a better tactic to get us to fight each other. I seen where you got your education, if I were you I would get my money back or ask them to help you with a better strategy…this bull your trying is not working.

Keep on ranting Monsieur, we know your feeling about Ethiopia. They say every great nation has to have an enemy and well we appreciated your hatred, it is how we know we are special. You'd better join OLF or Alqeda, it suits just fine. Thanks. |

To all my brothers and sisters regardless of your relgion and race read this book and check the facts with some other sources for the truth. Don't believe everything you read. The book is called Beyond Roots: in Search of Blacks in the bible It's written by an African American man name William Dwight Mckissic, SR. |

He twisted the facts and they are completely wrong. The details of the History he talked about are totally his opinion and are no where near the facts. He mentioned a few names to make it sound true and twisted it to favor his belief. He has no references. This should not be allowed to be online. I'm disappointed that Buzzle com will let such a lie be posted on their site. I’m sure if someone distorts and lie about the United States history like this they will be outraged. |

He can only fool the uneducated; he won’t be able to fool the educated that know the history. He is defiantly a raciest and hates the Christians. He is an Extreme Muslim. He wants Ethiopia to be divided and conquered by her enemy. He wants to destroy Ethiopia and its people. He wants to divide the people by religion and ethnicity. Ethiopia is one of the few countries that have citizens that have been living in peace with many different religions. Ethiopia’s 1st religion was completely Christianity and back when Islam 1st started spreading; Ethiopia was one of the 1st countries to welcome Muslims to come in as refuge during their exile. Muslims and Christians have been livening in Peace in Ethiopia ever since. Although we have different religions we are all family, brothers and sisters. I grew up with Muslim neighbors and my Christian family that married Muslims. Why disrupt this now? Why? He is trying to push all Christians out and he wants Ethiopia to be filled only with Muslims. |

I’m very angry after reading this article but I’ll try to be calm and respond with a clear mind. This article by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis is an Outrage and a big lie. This is to take away attention from all those Christian Ethiopians that were killed by the Extreme-Muslims. Thousands of Christians were killed b/c they refuse to convert to Islam. Churches were burned, priests were killed, and children’s were killed. There is proof of all these poor people had their heads cut off b/c they want to worship Jesus and not Muhammad. Why can’t we live as Christians and Muslims together in peace as we did for so long? Why do people like Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis want to divide us up? He wants to divide us up b/c he is an Extremist. He is giving all the honest and real Muslims a bad name. He is one of those Extreme Muslims with an evil agenda. He is that one bad apple that gives the rest a bad name. He has only an evil intent, and on e only to get rid of all the Christians in Ethiopia. He wants get us mad and rip us of our rich and ancient History because that is one of our valuable true heritages and history. And when I say us I’m talking about both Christians and Muslims. |

To suppose that I would be intimidated by the illiterate Amhara Abyssinians who write these trashy comments in their extreme panic is just daydreaming!
Of course, I know very well, and any one can read it in the Catholic Encyclopedia (newadvent dot org / entry 'Abyssinia'). that the murderous Amhara priests and monks executed mercilessly numerous Christian missionaries, who traveled to a supposedly Christian country and found a destiny worse than that expected at the hands of Ossama Bin Laden.
This cemetery of peoples tyrannized by the Amhara Abyssinian regimes (royal, communist, pseudo-republican) must have a dead end, not before too long.
Action causes reaction; the murderous tyranny of the Amharas brought already an Islamist regime in Mogadiscio, Somalia.
Either Abyssinia, mendaciously called Ethiopia, will be split soon and the oppressed Oromos, Sidamas, Afars and Ogadenis will have their national homes, or the reaction against the century-long Amhara criminal tyranny will take the form of Islamic revolution, as al Qaeda has planned it carefully.
America should not tolerate the Nazi Amharas anymore; they will bring about the total collapse of the world order, turning the entire Horn of Africa region into a most efficient basis for diffusion of Islamic Terror throughout Africa and the Middle East.
I would to remind the readers, which they can easily find in my Buzzle profile, that I am not Egyptian, but Greek citizen of Turkish origin, living currently in Egypt.
What makes my credentials stronger is that in parallel with the present article, I have repeatedly published numerous articles with severe criticism of the Arabic Nationalism, the system of Pan-Arabism, and all the regimes that emanated from that anti-historical theory.
I am not connected with states, and I reject tyrannies; expecially those usurping historical names that belong to other countries and peoples (Abyssinia can never be named 'Ethiopia'), and presnting a bogus-Christian face, while massacring Catholic missionaries.
Ethiopia is a name for the emerging country of the oppressed Kuic Oromos.
Abyssinia, which is the real present name of that country, will be disputed between Tigrays and Amharas. |

This is an absurd interventionist artticle by a psuedo intelectual ' prof Muhamed' which reflects the continuous animosity by Egypt and its ruling click to the hands that feed it 'Abbysinian Highlands' - the Source of their very livelihood. The profesor is totally archaic and doesn't have a single cohesive logic in this article. The whole connundrum of bringing various confusing and irrational historical facts which are not remotely interconnected proves that the intelectual bankrupcy of Egyptian ideologues and corrupt politicians who are trying to bring havoc and chaos in the whole Horn of Africa, including current day Somalia for the sake of keeping Ethiopia busy fighting various insurgencies, including the Oromo Liberation Front, so as Addis Abeba won't be able ot use the water which literally keeps egyptand egyptians alive. I would suggest that Egypt and its infamous corrupt band of Ethiopists wake up and smell the coffee. Ethiopia is on the right track to achieve economic development even if it means tapping the Nile river. A person who resides in a glass house shouldn't throw stone at his neighbours. The only option for the Cairo elites is to cooperate with Addis Abeba in shoring up the Abbysinian Highlands with afforestation and other enviromentally benefetial steps to insure the persistent supply of water. Ethiopia will sooner or later do whatever it pleases itself with its Water. As Egypt is charging ships for passage through the Suez Canal, Ethiopia will sure start onje day charging this folks down stream for the water hitherto freely supplied. We can always ship it across the Red Sea and have the Saudis enjoy the taste of this delicious water. Prof Mohamed, stay away from stirring trouble in Ethiopia. Soon, we are surely and definitely exploring our options in fighting off our perennial Enemies- the Egyptian! |
