FSAD - Female Sexual Arousal Disorder Causes & Cures

The American Medical Association has estimated that millions of US women suffer from what US doctors refer to as 'female sexual arousal disorder' or 'FSAD'. While there is a huge amount of media dedicated to male libido female libido while a big problem is not so openly discussed.

Anonymous This is in fact not *the* problem, but the *symptom* of psychological problems. And from my point of view just another form of medicalization. It is "inconvenient" for (heterosexual) men not to get sex from women when they want it. And lesbianism? I can't see the connection here. 1/30/2008

susan I am a 44 year old female , 2 grown girls and 5 grandchildren- I am a narcoleptic with cataplexy - I take 50 mg of adderall everydayand lots of other things at night- I have a serious problem and it is taking over my every thought .24 hours a day , my clitoris has been arroused constantly for 2 1/2 years - it is always swollen - I feel like I have a hard on all day - everyday - so much pressure and the pressure is even in my face.. - it never goes away - if I can make it go away , it comes right back - I am not handling this well at all - I am a prisiner - it has made me paranoid and very self concious - it is ruing my life - I cant be satisfied because it never goes away and there is no one to ask .. I feel like I could die if I dont get an answer soon --- thank you so much 9/23/2007
