I would like to add one more thing . What created everything, I mean way back in time before there was anything , no existance in any form , just nothing, what non existing thing decided to create something? This blows my mind when I think about death. And it leads me to the conclusion every time that the whole existance of everything is impossible, but I know I'm sitting here right now so there un questionably must be something bigger than us. |

yes I agree the infinite with the finite its getting in touch with that true self that resides in all of us many different ways of doing this it will not happen straight away but it is beautiful |

Where is your evidence to support what you are saying? Without it it's just wishful thinking. Fow now the hard true is that we cease to exist when we die. |

Death is not the end, because it would not make sense for something to be created without it will being recycled in some kind of way in the structured universe when it died.No longer existing would be as in the dark for eternity which would be the worse possible outcome one could ever experience. |

Well I suspet death is the end. All I know is this. I was born. I am. After my death - I was. |

It is said that dying is easier than falling asleep. Science and religion can only guess what is beyon the shroud of death. Your being is connected to the material universe while alive; but where does it go after? There are theories about alternate demensions connecting to our own; infinite universes different or simular in infinite ways. Testing of subatomic particals seems to verify this theory. Maybe our soul travels to one of those and begins again, much like reincarnation? |

I like the idea of afer death being a continual dream like existence..its true that in a dream we have no self consciousness about our physical states and things that may worry us during waking hours e.g being overweight, short or balding etc etc do not exist...but nice thought or idea that that is, you have to ask yourself what is the point of an eternal dream like state? are the memories or emotions of a very brief physical life enough to sustain our after death minds for all eternity?...and what of those who have led wretched lives full of hurt? Are they to take these tortured feelings with them for all time? |

Finality, that which ensure that all Endings will be finalize. Death was always Eternal for nothing is Eternal yet everything is embraced by Eternity. Reality itself is fiction, yet fiction is the same as reality.
Sadness is happiness, yet happiness is sadness. To live is to die, for they are one but the same. The Beginning was always the Ending, as for the Ending was the Beginning.
Humanity tried to linger to what they could not understand, thus they created religion and stuff alike in hope that it sustain them.
Death, is not as frightening as it looks or sound. Accept it, for what it is. Time waits for nobody, yet it is always with you.
Eternity bring forth Truth, and Truth bring forth Despair, which is Hope in disguise. With Hope, Finality shall take it's toll on us, and thus all Ending shall be realised...

That is an excellent way to think about death. i recently turned 28 and I cannot get it out of my mind that im gonna be dead one day. i look for rationalities in it all and it is the scariest thing in the world. I felt like I was alone in thinking about it. i tried to talk to my wife, but she doesnt want to think about it. It's a part of life we all have to deal with I guess some just deal with it better than others. I really do like what you say about it being like a dream for eternity and I hope thats true. |

not wishing to sound cynical..I think putting religious beliefs aside no living person has yet crossed over from the other side to tell us and possibly never will. Death comes to all of us, but for each individual it will be either a beginning or the end of our existance. Colin Moffatt. South Australia. |
