i hope it can be as free as going to take a shower it should NOT be a big deal , if sum one wants to go to a nursery to pick up plants & dirt in the nude & planting them in public walk-way or a park or setting-up a tree in down-town broad-way . ad if kids are there , i wood ask "hey ! you want to give a hand on helping me set this tree i'll hold , you set it in and put dirt in to it . get sum stakes here and put them in at a triangle & here sum twine to anchor the tree with ." it can be a great way to be at ease with a person . if they want to help , with out getting dirty on their clothes , the kids . " no big deal " or it can be the same wth in a gym as long as you have a towel with ya . keeps every thing sanitised less cleaning to do or have a cleaner at every work-out station in a spray bottle , when they leave spray it down and P.Towel-it dry . "an Idea" it wood help people get into cleaning more offen alittle practice it should be rue-tine . |

I do think it could get very cold in the winter time. However; I see nothing wrong with it at a beach, lake or the backyard, however; some bodies look a lot better with clothing on . Including mine. I have seen some beautiful naked women on beaches in California, do not have anothing against it, do not think it promotes prography, except in the eyes of a pervet. I say let it be and take it off with a knowledge that respect others views also. |

It is how we were born, for goodness sake. Nothing wrong with a naked body. Maybe lots wrong in the minds of those who are afraid of nudity. |

Prudish is exactly the word for it. For all it's claims of personal freedom, the U.S. is still lagging behind Europe on some very basic human rights issues. Nudity seems fairly minor compared to something like gay rights, but nevertheless it's an issue. One could easily argue that going around with clothes on is the unnatural act, and that being forced to wear clothes in order to enter a public space is oppressive. I find it especially ironic that devoutly religious folks seem to be the most offended by the natural human form that they claim god created--some religions going so far as to say "in his own image". |

If all were nude then it would go almost unnoticed, accepted as normal behavior. The only big deal about nudity is the one we make of it, I would like to see nudity accepted and people were allowed to be nude wherever they wished to be. |

The nudity will stop when their photos are all over the internet. Or maybe not. |

It's interesting to see how hard taboos die. Even in a supposedly post-Enlightenment society, people will cling to irrational fears and demand that other peoples' behavior be controlled. A truly enlightened society would not attempt to stop or censure any behavior that harms no one. Of course, there are those who will assert that the sight of a naked human causes harm. I personally think that any case they can make for harm is flimsy at best. What they are really embracing in demanding the concealment of parts of the human body is the cherished belief that humans are somehow "above" other animals. Well, I think it's high time that humans admit that we ARE animals. If we stop pretending we're not, then perhaps we can develop reasonable ethics that don't appeal to some fictional entity for their justification, but derive directly from real human needs.
OK, I'm done ranting! |

Opponents try to lump everything under the sun in with nudity - harassment, laciviousness, etc. But please step back and explain what is immoral about two people throwing a frisbee to each other while nude? Or someone getting an all-over tan? In what fathomable way is the human body offensive in and of itself? It just seems like one more case of people resisting throw off old irrational prohibitions. They don't like; they'll think of a good reason later. |
