Jazzmin I think kids 5 and above should carry cell phones. What if they had medical problems and they need help in the middle of nowhere? how will they get help...they won't. They will probably die before help comes. 3/19/2009
Avril I got my first brand-new phone when I was six –– a Motorola. Then, when I turned seven, I received another phone. Another at age nine, and then a flip phone at age ten. Then, at eleven, I got an iPhone. Now, I'm thirteen, and I've given my iPhone away and bought the Prada phone. 6/21/2008
Jamie Well i guess i believe that it is good for a younger chid to have a cell phone for various reason most of the reasons that were stated in this article, it is more for me and my mother (grandma) to feel at ease that we can call her and she will answer rather than her just as a 7 year old to have a cell phone. I believe that it is defitnetly a great chance for them to also learn resposibility.
I believe my daughter is old enough to understand what she is and she is not able to do with the phone.
I gave my daughter my RZR phone and i ended up getting a newer phone, i only added a line to my account so a 2 year contract.

unknown I feel that kids should have cell phones because for emergency use parents can limit the texting and mintues of calling but kids need them. 1/30/2008
Shelby Barber i got my first cell phone when i was 6.
it helped my parents keep tack of me, and it saved my life at age 7. i think every child that can talk and go to school should own a cell phone. whether it be at age 2 or age 15.
my child will have a phone at age 5.
it saves lifes.
buh bye now.
