Schizoid Personality Disorder

Schizoids never pursue an opportunity to develop a close relationship. Schizoids are asexual - not interested in sex. Consequently, they appear cold, aloof, bland, stunted, flat, and "zombie"-like.

Charity I have an ex-boyfriend whom I strongly believe is a schizoid. His personality is constantly changing. Today he can be nicest and sweetest man and the next day you talk with him, he appears delusional. He appears uninterested to talk about anything..He isolates himself and he at times appears drunk or high on some drug. He also looses his sex drive..and just appears lost and confused, however, at times he tries to pretend like everything is O.K, but l have known him for a while and have watch his behavior change drastically. There are times where he has these temporary psychotic episodes. He is in denial and l think he needs serious professional help before he harms others or himself. 1/30/2008
