"MagicDave" Interesting article and most informative however I disagree with some of the suggestions regarding acquiring all of the "nutritional necessities" from the diet. This possibility has long since been a "pipe dream." The only other point that I see that is missing is that mineral supplementation is way more important than taking vitamins and putting vitamins and minerals together in the same "package" (capsule, tablet, gelcap, etc.) degrades the vitamins from the moment of manufacture. Minerals activate vitamins. Take a mineral supplement and eat a well balanced diet that includes lots of RAW fruits and vegetables because RAW fruits and vegetables is where digestive enzymes are found. If you eat a well balanced diet your can in fact provide your body with a majority of the vitamins and materials for body synthesis of the vitamins that your needs as long as you are taking a complete mineral supplement. The greatest vitamin in the world just isn't what it's title would have you believe. 12/21/2007
