I have had sever acne in the past and was left with unattractive scars on my face.
I purchased the Dr. Max Powers Scar Serum from their website online - it was medium expensive for a scar cream - because I needed a solution. The Max Powers Scar Cream does work well, but don't expect to see results instantly. You need to apply it regularly and consistently for about a month in order to see results. It really does work though.
My scars are much more toned down and less visible. |

People reading this, please DO NOT use Acuzine or Acnezine. I did last year and my moderate acne became very painful and severely inflamed cystic acne. It was nothing like I'd ever experienced! I had to go on very strong medication plus had several skin procedures done, and even so my skin is now full of scars and indentations from the cysts and the overall pigmentation is ruined. All this cost thousands of dollars, and the resurfacing later this year will cost thousands more. So please don't use these over the counter or internet medications...remember that it's very easy for these companies to post positive reviews on topic relevant websites (such as this site).
If you have acne, you need to be gentle with your skin (as in don't touch and use very gentle products - most drug store acne products are very harsh so do your research, use tea tree oil instead of benzoyl peroxide, etc.), if you use makeup use only breathable mineral makeup (but only ones specifically for acne prone skin as most mineral makeup can actually make you break out as it's formulated for dry / mature skin, also don't use the cheap makeup products as they really are inferior in quality), stay out of the sun, cleanse your skin only twice a day (do a thorough but gentle job), eat healthy only, drink water and healthy drinks only and most importantly, try your best to not let stress get to you. Do whatever you have to to minimize the effects of stress on your system (this is very important)! And please try to see a dermatologist even if you think your acne isn't "that" bad...there are so many more options at the derm now than being given accutane right away :)
Ps: I'm a 10 year sufferer of very persistent acne, usually in the past it had been mainly moderate acne. |

Hi i started using too much cream on my face as i used to massage the cream in (i mean really alot) and this caused loads of small spots they beacame bigger then faded but the spots have left loads of smal marks on my face. I went to my gp and he provided me with a 2 week coarse of antibiotics they helped the spots to go. Now im left with these marks and i just want my skin to look smooth like it used to, can you recommend anything, thanks? |

New cells replace old cells very slowly. It takes me more than 40 years to fade away scars. But, I an worry the fast way, if it is not doing right, might damage skin more. I agree vitimains, milk and eggs can help better skin. |

I have a wonderful way to get rid of pimples fast. Put a bit of water in tumeric powder so it's a thick paste and put on affected area and once it is dry leave it on for 2hours and rinse off. Tumeric powder is a strong natural dye so it may be hard to get the colour off, so just wash it off with a strong soap. |
