AOL Announces Free E-Mail Accounts and Software

AOL’s parent company, Time Warner, Inc., announced Wednesday that the company is making a shift to offer some services free to non-AOL customers in order to attract more online advertisers.

Norma Eckl I think it is a CROCK OF NONSENSE. AOL is still charging me for EMAIL ONLY service. Emails/Phone calls have not resolved the issue of me paying twice for a "free" service. I have put it into dispute with my credit card company but I won't be using AOL for any needs going forward. I was a customer for years. Do not announce that things are "free" and then keep charging. 9/8/2006
