ron China should realize that what they are doing is wrong and cruel to both the dogs and the owners of these dogs. For some people, a pet, or in this case, a dog is all that they have. Some people would live lonely lives if not for their dogs. This is one way human beings can keep company.
Testing could be aquired on dogs that are seemingly rabid or diseased. It is unnecessary to kill every dog except those that are helpful to society. This testing would prevent several deaths of innocent dogs.
If owners begin to contract rabies, then they will know that they had made a wrong choice, but if one is insecure about a certain dog all that one should do is stay away. More extreme measures could be taken if it begins to get out of control, but 2500 deaths is not a huge deal when considering the country's size and population.

Bert I am OUTRAGED...they are so barbaric and inhumane. China needs to polish up their act if they plan on occupying the world stage. If I could, I would withdraw the Olympic games from their country. 8/1/2006
