| Big Daddy | Im sure a football, baseball bat, porno video, hockey stick and a few hundred other things woudl also raise testosterone levels. If true, these dangerous things should all be prohibited. | 3/15/2010 |
| Dex | For starters, try using a real gun, not an Airsoft. Besides the whole fake-gun issue, Airsofts are probably as much of a pain in the posterior to take apart and reassemble as BB guns. A real Makarov, or 1911, or other handgun is going to be easier to field-strip, and won't trigger aggression levels like something that's really annoying to work on. | 1/5/2010 |
| pj clarke | While handling a firearm as indicated in the test may increase testosterone and agression levels in the test subjects, another part of the equation may also abe a feeling of empowerment that comes from a feeling being able to control your own destiny as it relates to the victimization people feel when they are confronted with an act of violence. | 7/28/2009 |
| tiedye76 | It would be interesting to see what other activities raise testosterone levels. Driving a fast car, perhaps. Do those activities also contribute to violent behavior? What is the impact of this study on police officers, who handle firearms every day without exhibiting violent behavior? |

| oldnbald | Very small test group. I would not put much faith in it until a larger study had resulted in like or similar results. But, agreed, if the Brady people see this, they will certainly use it. |

| Michael Sykes | What a CROCK! Let's try this experiment again and this time use an average power tool in lieu of a gun. WAKE UP PEOPLE, with all but a very few states in the union allowing properly trained and qualified citizens to carry concealed firearms for defense of self and family, you'll note that as has been argued, blood is NOT running in the streets! Think about it, yes I'm very PRO Second Admentment, an ex deputy sheriff, and not one to believe that testosterone levels have anything to do with the violence that your group seems to want to proclaim to the people. Thanks for reading my rant! | 8/28/2006 |
