What a fascinating article and philsophy.I have been practicing(but have not yet perfected) this concept all my life,without realizing there was a name and rationale.In an eurocentric based society, there are two polarized and divisve extremes competing to be the on top as the winner.I wonderinh how would you practice "Ubuntu" and not be expolited by someone either incapable or unwilling to embrace this ideal.Can anybody suggest a book or website for additional study.? |

I had a chance to attend a plenary session at the International Student Festival in Trondheim (Norway) 2009 where Desmond Tutu explained us the Ubuntu philosophy that can be summarized: I am because you are, because you are I am.
And It was very great to meet such person like Tutu. |

The missles weren't intended to hit little girls, and IDF makes sure they don't kill civilians, its to hit Hezbollah, and the girls were probably writing to the terrorists. You should blame Hezbollah for not practicing "ubuntu" not the IDF/Israel. |
