Italy is the 2006 Soccer World Cup champion, having beat France 5-3 in a shootout after playing to a 1-1 draw, but France’s captain was named the Best Player in the tournament despite his outrageously violent behavior on the field.

Zidane headbutt is more complex than it seems: is it logical that soccer keep on insulting each other ? Does a human being has to accept to be insulted because of his skin color .Would you accept to be qualified a terrorist ? Zidane gesture simply says: the winning team of the World cup comes from a country were companies are able to buy match results and where players are openly racist. Doesn't it seem strange than all italian players are white whereas most of the french team is black ? |
