Marge I'm hoping someone has the answer to my question...If a test has proven paternity and a lump sum for past years (16) has been agreed upon through the courts...Who is entitled to those funds? The parent who had no help with support for 16 years, or the child who is soon to be an adult? 1/25/2009
kristen Although I believe it is important for a paternity testing to be done before decisions are made of whether or not someone is required to pay child support for a child that may or may not be their own I also believe that it is important for the core problem to be solved. What I mean by that is that if people are sleeping around with that many people to not know for sure who the father is that is the real problem. The child not only has to deal with the everyday things that a child deals with in growing but also not knowing who their father is for sure. On the otherhand I realize that sleeping around is not always the case though it is something that needs to be addressed though the law cannot do anything about. What the law can deal with though however is the fact of whether or not the claimed father really is the father or if he was just a name thrown on the birth certificate of a new mother who is scared to death. I believe that it should be part of the procedure in assigning the child support and the resonsibilities of both parents. 1/25/2008
Maggie M What happens once the dna is negative? What do you do with the birth certificate and social security card (in regards to the name change). 1/21/2008

doug rich John,

First off a support case worker has no authority to
give advice or speak in place of a decision that is up
to the judge. I would file a motion in court for
genetic testing. Keep in mind if you happen to win
your case, It multiplies to funding your state and
local support office will loose in federal funding.
ITS TRULY ABOUT THE GOOD OLD DOLLAR BILL, I in my case
now am all the way up to the United States Attorneys
office. I am close to having a federal investigation
done on at least my own agencies office, But shooting
for the entire state of Michigan. You can see more
details at the web site of fixthefoc, com on just
where my case has went from the last it was published.
Watch the Detroit news over the next 10 days as they
are building a story that will knock the socks off all
corrupt individuals with in the Judicial system. Good
luck to you.

Robert Prince It is about time someone heard the cries of suspected fathers. I applaud your efforts and hope to use the information to help clients in this area to deal with such issues. I am the program manager for a program called Fatherhood. I work with Fathers who have been orderd to pay support and assist fathers dealing with the Family Court and the Child Support Enforcement Agency. Thanks 10/5/2006
Douglas Martin In the united states we have in excess of 4900 individual groups that are lobbying for change. There are many issues on the table ranging from DV to support and fraud.

There are many issues that each and every group has failed to agree on, while no one has all the answers, we all agree the family courts need reform. We all agree or at the least understand the money trail leads to the biggest culprit, Federal funding. As we continue to exchange views, and argue the points, we are selves are failing our children severely.

We all agree, UNITY is the answer, even though we do not agree on 100% of the issues,UNITY can be accomplished, we all stumble around hopelessly awaiting just one person organize unity, state wide.

When congress votes on any one particular bill, most of the time their true intentions are valid, Unfortunately the courts hold full discretion to the ruling of the laws drafted, and as well hold no accountability. This alone leaves way to much room for bias errors to occur that ultimately undermines the meaning of justice in the courts. Ultimately devastating our family's and children's lives, remember the best interest of the children has long been forgotten and blinded by the color of the good old dollar bill that can be generated at the cost of all of our rights and children's lives and futures.

In the united states as a whole each and every individual state has various laws,,,,with no one to police them. with UNITY we can send the much needed voice to the proper officials that Ultimately are responsible for the protection our individual rights, the answer is WASHINGTON, Until they hear all of us in 1 voice we will all be ignored and continue to be violated in the family courts.

I have a proposal, I don't claim to have the answers and can surly not accomplish this on my own, YOUR help is needed. I will post a link to one of many News story's that have been done in my fight, Just for validity purposes to prove my motivation and drive. It will be no waste of time.

I am a victim my self, and will note I won my case. I am purely fighting for the rights of all, I don't, like you want to see the abuse continue. and am putting my best foot forward to ensure WASHINGTON Gets the message.

I started my fight in the family courts in my home state of Michigan, after wining my case I took my fight to Lansing, Now I am headed to WASHINGTON As I do have confirmation I have their attention. The door is open. I must move swiftly before it closes. My goal is a full scale federal investigation and audits to each and every state.

This is a link to ABC News, this is just one of dozens that have been broadcast over the last year, as they are following me in OUR journey to correct the issues we all hold an understanding of.

WJRT ABC Channel 12 News,

Now, You may ask, what can WE do to help, The first thing I would like to point out is I have dedicated my self to this cause, I am not asking for any thing I am not willing to set-forth my self, I have spent hundreds of hours researching and building contacts, and most of all this is not about ME, but us as a whole.

With the help of others giving credit to all we have designed a web-site to collect and supply people with information, with in this site there is a petition of signatures. All I am asking is take a minute and go to the site and sign the petition, please ad the state you are from, and as well post a link to your site with your signature. This will go to WASHINGTON I promise, This is a state wide problem, and it will take the states joining together to get the attention of WASHINGTON.

Link listed below.

I am not asking for much, this is way over due, If you have a group e-mail please forward this on to all, spread it like the plague as the more signatures obtained will startle WASHINGTON with the force and coming together.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me, I am as well open to any advice as this is not about me and I don't have all the answers, I am just putting one foot forward.

Sincerely
Mr Douglas M Richardson
