In today’s hectic world, we are not eating properly, and worst of all, we are teaching our children to do the same. A whole new generation of junk food eaters is being primed to rely on drugs instead of proper nutrition. The big pharma must be ecstatic at the prospect of future sales.

urwrong I don't doubt it- i am sure they had acid relfux back then too- because sometimes they weren't able to get what they needed for food to eat and that can cause problems too- also it can be a disease also for those born with it 6/20/2009

That's great you were able to cure yourself. Do you have any suggestions for me? I'm 28, 115 pounds, I exercise 5 days a week, I seldom eat out, maybe 3 times a month. I don't eat anything spicy and I stay far, far away from red sauce. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus and prescribed Nexium. I just started reading about the side effects of Nexium - I have felt no such side effects. I'd love to stop taking the drug but the thought of the cancer causing acids in my esophagus make me continue to do so. Any suggestions?		 6/17/2008
