Angel The tips for weight loss are excellent. I would just like to add another perspective to it.. Eating healthy food and exercising sufficiently seems to be the key to losing weight. But there is another important thing to be kept in mind and i.e. to spread over your meals in such a way that you end up eating 5-6 small meals every day rather than 2-3 meals per day. Eating small meals aids in speeding up your body metabolism and also helps you to avoid craving for food as it keeps your stomach full the whole day. But one important thing is that you have got to keep a track of the calories you consume with each meal. Every day you need about 2000 calories. So eat a variety of fresh, fruits and vegetables, lean meats, and grains. Avoid fat meats, dairy products, processed foods and pre-made foods with added sugar or corn syrup. drrick I have to agree with fatjoelive... diet pills do more harm than good. in fact, i have found, in my practice there is A LOT that can be done before chemicals are needed. I have heard time and time again how one of my patients "can't lose weight"... but its not that they can't.. and its not because they are lazy, its because they were never shown how. its not enough to say "diet and exercise!" I have not met anybody yet that couldn't be helped with out diet pills. 12/30/2007

fatjoelive While I agree to cut out fried foods and eat more veggies I am not ok with the diet pills. They are unhealthy, costly, and no substitute for quality food and quality workouts.
