Czech Republic Travel
Czech Republic travel and tourism information & guide on vacation spots and destinations in Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is located at the heart of Europe. Consisting mostly of the two historic regions of Bohemia and Moravia, it is bordered by Poland, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany. Its capital is Prague. From 1918 to Dec. 31, 1992, the Czech Republic was part of Czechoslovakia, a federal state in which Slovakia was the other half. Conflict between the Czechs and Slovaks over constitutional and economic issues after the end of Communist rule in 1989 led to the decision to end their union.
