Foreign Languages and Translation
Language involved a complex system of communicating among human beings. Language is oral-aural, sound is produced by the human voice and perceived by the ear. About 3,000 to 8,000 distinct languages are used in the world at present. Language translation deals with changing a text from one language to another. This is a difficult task, as is evidenced still by the breaches in communication amongst many peoples in the world. While one can translate another's words to a new language, the quandary becomes how to successfully carry the culture surrounding those words over as well.
