Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

The Florida Keys are a chain of islands that extend for about 150 miles from the tip of Florida into the Gulf of Mexico to Key West, the westernmost island. They are linked to the mainland by the Overseas Highway, whose longest bridge extends for 7 miles over the Gulf. Key Largo is the largest island in the chain, whose primary industry is tourism.
