Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site
The Hubbell Trading Post stands as the oldest continuously operating trading post on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. The trading post was originally purchased by John Lorenzo Hubbell in 1878. Mr. Hubbell and his family operated the post until its sale to the National Park Service in 1967. The post is currently operated and maintained by a non-profit organization that strives to preserve the rich trading history of the Hubbell Trading Post. The Hubbell family home, the trading post, and the National Park Service visitor center serve as the most popular attractions at the 160-acre homestead. Below are links that provide information about the Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site.
