Natural History Museums
Museums on history & natural sciences. Science may be broadly defined as the development and systematization of positive knowledge about the physical universe. The history of science, then, is the description and explanation of the development of that knowledge Science is generally viewed as a cumulative and progressive activity. Theorists on science in general have traditionally concentrated on the cognitive aspects of science. Recently, however, they have become more involved with the social and ethical implications of scientific research. Today philosophers of science join scientists and interested lay people in discussing the concerns raised by issues such as recombinant DNA research and race-IQ research for social policy.
