Anthropology is defined as the study of the origin, nature, and destiny of human beings. Anthropologists and sociologists research cultures and heritages of the world to better understand the history and evolution of human beings. Every culture embraces a different set of learned attitudes and behavior that includes unique forms of art, morals, laws and customs. Anthropologists and private and governmental organizations, such as the United Nations, have helped to preserve international cultures through their studies, conservation efforts and monetary contributions.
