Tennis
Tennis, which is also referred to as lawn tennis, is a popular international racket-and-ball sport on both recreational and competitive levels. It is played on an indoor or outdoor court and consists of two players or two teams of couples hitting a rubber ball back and forth over a net within the boundaries of the opposite side of the court. The United States Tennis Association regulates organized tournaments in the U.S. and the International Tennis Federation oversees worldwide competitions. Variations of tennis include squash, badminton, racquetball, paddle tennis, platform tennis, and table tennis.
