Kiting & Kite Surfing
Kitesurfing, power kites and kite surf. A kite is a light frame covered with paper, plastic, or cloth that is tied to a long string and flown in the wind. The basic kite is a flat, diamond-shaped type, created from two sticks tied into a cross that must have a tail unless the cross stick is bent and tied soas to form a bow in the kite. The box kite has a rectangular, open frame, while other kites feature semi-rigid frames or no frames at all, as in the case of parafoil kites.
