Footbag
Footbag is an American sport invented in 1972 as a result of its creators kicking around a handmade beanbag. The game was named Hacky Sack after the phrase, "Hack the sack." Eventually, the National Hacky Sack Association and the International Footbag Committee were established and footbag became a popular sport all over the world. Besides freestyle footbag, where players stand in a circle and kick-pass around the bag, there is the sport of footbag net, in which players volley the bag back and forth over a 5-foot-high net on a Badminton-sized court. This section features various resources on footbag sports.
