Darts
Darts is a game in which small, slender, pointed missiles are thrown at a numbered board to score points. The game is played mostly in bars, pubs, and private clubs. Darts was developed in England during the 15th century and English colonizers later brought it to the United States. Although it is still the most popular in England, there are many dart leagues throughout the world that play in regional, national, and international tournaments. The most famous competition is the Embassy World Professional championship in Surrey, England, which features roughly 500,000 international participants.
