Croquet

Croquet is a lawn sport involving individual players or two teams of two players that use colored wooden mallets to hit matching balls through six wire wickets, or hoops, in a specific sequence. At the end of the croquet course is a center peg, which the players attempt to hit to win the game. If a player hits an opponent's ball, they are allowed two more strokes. After passing through a wicket, a player can take one more stroke. Croquet was developed in England and has two variations, known as roque and lawn croquet. This section features resources on croquet.
