Automobile racing news and publications. Automobile racing is a popular international sport on both amateur and professional levels and involves a wide variety of cars, tracks, and courses. The Federation Internationale De l'Automobile (FIA) governs motorsports on a worldwide basis through a classification system of racing events and the automobiles that qualify to participate in each event. There are some newspapers, magazines, and other publications dedicated to the subject of motorsports that feature resources on such events as the Indianapolis 500, the NASCAR Winston Cup, the Busch Grand National and the PPG IndyCar World Series.
