Reference and related resources. Reference is the act of referring or consulting and using information resources like dictionary, encyclopedia, thesaurus and libraries. Education is defined as the knowledge or skill obtained or developed by a learning process. It has played an important role in society throughout history. In order for a society to survive, people must be educated to think creatively and systematically so they can adequately produce goods and services.
