Education Legislation and Policies

Many types of legislation have been passed or proposed in recent years, having to do with school reform and the general improvement of education in America. Policies are developed, implemented or discarded at a remarkable rate. The need for a well-educated population increase as our society becomes more technologically-oriented. Improvements and reforms must be made in education; the inequities attached to race, politics, culture, gender and sexual orientation should be abolished so that all citizens may participate equally in education.
